Serious question, me and my friend each bought a zlxg2 15, I paired them to my phone, can he also pair them to his phone simultaneously? Or I do I have to disconnect, ( or delete the pair completely) so he can pair both speakers also?

Hello! How much and how will the sound of Everse 12 differ from Everse 8? Like for example in this short 1.5 minute excerpt ruclips.net/video/OMPkPStMgo4/видео.html JBL Eon One Compact is much inferior to Everse 8 in volume, but at the same time, the drums and percussion of JBL Eon One Compact sound more clearly in this recording, they are not lost against the background of other instruments

I've just bought one and I'm disappointed in two things. First, the FX are set in stone, meaning you can't adjust delay times, feedback times, etc. Second, the way the different FX are assigned to either FX 1 or FX 2 means you cannot create the very standard setup of a reverb on one and a delay on the other. That's like mixer FX basics, and you CAN'T do it because FX 2 is all chorus and flanger, and other stuff not often used at all. For goodness' sake @EV Official, use a firmware update to shift some reverbs across to FX 2!

I have opted for the zlx 12 g2. It's on the way so will report back here with my thoughts. OK so I received the 12inch and can say the quality of audio is excellent and weight is very manageable. I would rate this highly. One weird quirk with BT, connected the app via Android phone and can adjust everything but my music from phone is not streaming to the speaker. I'm assuming a firmware problem so EV reply to my comment and I can further elaborate if needed.

Experience the demo, it really impress me. Make me immerse in the music. Love its performance .

Hi - if the speaker is left idle for a few minutes then it goes to sleep & power light on the grill is off , i have to wake it up through the mobile app ONLY by muting / unmuting , is there a way to change this setting so that it never goes to sleep or any other way to wake it up apart from using the mobile app , my speaker is installed at a height on a wall and powered on. This was hyped up for a big release for Ev and all high end pro users were getting excited as all we have had is pole systems and battery speakers - which are great but not really boxes for more pro applications and this was our moment !!! The ZLX!!!! And they have hyped it up to be their biggest ever launch !!! Electrovoice - you have a huge market as a pro audio company, please do not fall down the lines of what Mackie did and destroy what you built.

Hi hopefully I can get a somewhat quick answer. Is there any way to safely and effectively run a vocal mic in input 1 and input 2 and then plug an acoustic guitar into the input 2 1/4" jack as well. I would control the volume of the guitar with it's preamp. The goal is a duo with two vocals and one guitar. Thanks in advance! Also, could this be done on the Everse series by reducing the 1/4" instrument cable to 3.5 mm?

On my Everse 8 turned off, the screen sometimes flashes, not immediately, after about 15 minutes. Then it glows dimly again. After 15 minutes, it may or may not flash again. This happens in different ways. You have to sit and watch. If you don't know it, you don't notice it. Is this normal behavior? The charging time is less than 3 hours, or rather 2.5 hours. When turned on - 4.5 hours. Everything else works without question!
